Parabola is an application written with a CASIO pocket viewer PV-S450 that allows you to perform a ballistic simulation. You have to hit a target randomly placed in a scenary adjusting the angle and the initial velocity of a gun. A random mountain or valley is also generated in order to make things a bit more difficult. And donīt forget the wind !!! a little arrow in the top left side of the panel represents the wind direction (the arrow) and velocity (the number of transversal lines). Using the Parabola application: -First you have to select the gun initial speed and angle using the two sliders. You will see the selected values on the left side of each slider. When ready, just hit the "Try" button and see what happens. If you hit the target the scenary will change automatically. -"New" lets you generate a new random scenary -"Wnd" lets you randomly change the wind direction and speed. -"?" makes the PV play (it can also miss the target due to speed conditions or to the difficulty of the scenary). -The bell: enables/disables the sound when the target is hit. -The number at the top right side counts the number of attempts. -To exit press the usual ESC button when the game is iddle.
